Abortion Initiative Status - On the Ballot!
The Nevada 'Right to Abortion Initiative' is on the ballot, and if passed, will provide for a state constitutional right to an abortion, provide for the state to regulate abortion after fetal viability, except where medically indicated to "protect the life or health of the pregnant patient."
Thus, the initiative will codify the law that is already in place in Nevada, and block any future changes.
